Job summary

Cleeng is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer specializing in React and TypeScript. The role is remote-first within an international team spanning Amsterdam, Poznan, Manila, and NYC.

You will own features end-to-end, drive code quality, and collaborate closely with product and backend engineers. Responsibilities include shipping code hands-on, managing the frontend harness, mentoring teammates, and ensuring robust CI gates and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production frontend apps with React and TypeScript.
• Deep React and advanced TypeScript experience.
• English at C1; clear written communication; remote-first agile team.

Responsibilities

• Ship code yourself — stay hands-on in React and TypeScript with real tickets.
• Own the agent harness for frontend — configuration, hooks, and permissions.
• Mentor teammates; raise the team’s capabilities with docs, tests and tooling.
• Ensure correctness, design quality and security of merged code.
• Own frontend delivery scope: sprint commitments, estimates, trade-offs.
• Run group day-to-day: 1:1s, standups, unblock teammates.
• Own what you ship: dashboards, alerts, and operational health.
• Structured handover from Lead Frontend Engineer before leave.
