Job summary

Roche is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, build, and evolve secure, scalable cloud solutions on AWS. The role is hybrid, with two days per week in the office, and involves hands-on implementation from design to operation, focusing on EKS, Bedrock, IaC, CI/CD, and cloud security.

You will collaborate with a team of Cloud Engineers, architects, and security specialists to deliver production-ready platforms and continuous improvements across the AWS stack.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
• Deep knowledge of Amazon EKS and Kubernetes architectures.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or generative AI/cloud AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AWS solutions translating requirements into secure, scalable architectures.
• Operate and manage Amazon EKS environments and Kubernetes workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and apps using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
• Embed security by design including IAM, least-privilege and key management.
