What you’ll do

  • Hands-on delivery of critical backend (.NET 6-8, ASP.NET Core, gRPC/REST, EF Core) and frontend (React/TypeScript) components.

  • Define and improve CI/CD, quality gates, testing strategy and release practices.
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure and IaC (Terraform/Bicep, Ansible); ensure secure secret management and identities.
  • Drive legacy refactoring, migration planning (strangler pattern) and technical debt control.
  • Establish observability, monitoring, and runbook practices to reduce MTTR.

  • 10+ years in senior/fullstack/lead roles in complex corporate environments.
  • Expert in C#/.NET (Framework/Core/6-8), ASP.NET Core and EF Core.
  • Advanced MSSQL skills: data modelling, query/plan optimisation, indexing, transactions and performance tuning.
  • Practical Azure experience (App Services, Functions, Storage, SQL, Key Vault, App Insights); GCP experience/cert is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of SOLID, Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS and making data-driven tradeoffs.
  • Proven experience leading teams, mentoring engineers and enforcing engineering standards.
  • Demonstrated experience managing production support, SLAs, prioritisation and escalation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with business stakeholders and clients (HEBU/HSBC experience desirable).
