Your career opportunity

DevOps/Production Support Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our production environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. This role involves troubleshooting production issues, automating deployments, and optimizing system performance.

What you’ll do

  • Provide L2/L3 support for production systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring minimal downtime including participation in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support when necessary.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Monitor system health and performance using logging and monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Cloudwatch, Grafana, Splunk, etc.).
  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP, ensuring cost efficiency, security, and high availability.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Shell scripting.
  • Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
  • Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Production Support role.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting and hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system reliability.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKAD, or RHCE are a plus.
  • Availability to work in different shifts, or be on “on call" duty.
