Job description
  • Responsible for managing global technical accounting and providing global financial reporting support.
  • The Group Technical Accounting (IFRS) Manager is responsible for leading group technical accounting matters and ensuring high-quality consolidated financial reporting in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role plays a central part in managing the group consolidation process, developing financial accounting policies, and providing technical expertise to support business operations, transactions, and strategic decision-making worldwide.
  • Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Group in accordance with IFRS.
  • Coordinate inputs from subsidiaries and business units, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
  • Oversee consolidation systems, adjustments, eliminations, and preparation of notes to the accounts.
  • Manage audit requirements related to group financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
  • Ensure disclosures meet IFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
  • Research and interpret IFRS standards (current and emerging), evaluating their impact on the Group.
  • Draft technical position papers and provide accounting guidance to regional and local finance teams.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s global accounting policies in line with IFRS.
  • Provide consistent communication and training to finance teams across geographies.
  • Coordinate global pension accounting and related financial reporting disclosures.
  • Support the accounting for the company’s asset securitization program and other specialized transactions.
  • Prepare and present updates on technical accounting and reporting matters to Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
Our requirements
  • Master studies degree with major in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant or equivalent with Big 4 experience
  • 7-10 years technical and/or public accounting experience
  • Experience in researching and implementing complex technical accounting issues
  • Experience with IFRS required
  • Strong communication skills in English required
