Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking an entry-level Ground Transportation Coordinator to support our Managed Transportation team in Europe. The role will provide training and hands-on exposure to daily carrier operations, shipment execution, onboarding, and transportation administration.

You will work closely with Carrier Representatives, Operations teams, and transportation providers to ensure timely shipments and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Internship within logistics or transportation is considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English required.
• Additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Carrier Representatives with daily transportation operations and shipment execution.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure tracking updates are maintained within company systems.
• Assist with carrier onboarding, documentation collection, and compliance verification.
• Maintain accurate carrier records, rates, and operational data.
• Communicate with carriers regarding shipment updates, delays, and service requirements.
• Assist in resolving transportation issues and escalating exceptions when required.
• Support appointment scheduling, shipment tracking, and proof-of-delivery collection.
• Help maintain transportation management systems (TMS) and carrier databases.
• Collaborate with Operations, Account Management, and Carrier teams to support customer service objectives.
• Assist with carrier scorecards, KPI reporting, and service performance monitoring.

We are seeking Ground Transportation Coordinator to support our Managed Transportation team.

This entry-level role who will be provided with training to be responsible for assisting with daily carrier operations, shipment execution, carrier onboarding, and transportation administration across our European network.

The successful candidate will work closely with Carrier Representatives, Operations teams, and transportation providers to ensure shipments are executed efficiently and service expectations are met. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a career in transportation, carrier management, and supply chain operations.

This role will be location Gdansk.
