Overview

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Ground Operations Controller to join Europe’s Largest Airline! Based in Warsaw Poland, the successful candidate will work in our Operations Control Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join Europe’s leading airline and to gain experience in a busy working environment. This is a shift based position on a rotating ‘4 on / 4 off’ basis and would include night shifts.

Responsibilities

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Being the point of contact and direction to all airports in our network.
• Identification, highlighting and immediate resolution of under-performance by airports in the areas of punctuality, ancillary revenue collection, customer service issues and safety & security.
• Production of timely, accurate and informative reports
• Co-ordination and control of EU261 Care in case of flight disruptions, provide direction to airports as required.
• Providing support to Customers Services Department and Newskies Helpdesk.
• Perform related ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is essential, fluency in other European languages would be an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Word & Excel (MS Office and/or ECDL would be an advantage)
• Availability and ability to work shift and weekend cover
• Knowledge of Ryanair Route Network, Policies & Procedures and Airline Obligations under regulation EU261 2004
• Previous experience in the airlines industry / operations is required
• Proven ability to work under pressure.
