Job summary

GlobalLogic is building a team of Embedded Architects to lead a greenfield migration from Embedded Linux to NXP MCUs running ThreadX. You will define the architectural blueprint, rewrite core code, and guide porting with full technical ownership.

You will work on M3uC-based systems, ensuring modularity and high integrity of the software architecture. The role emphasizes RTOS-based development, hard real-time constraints, and close collaboration with enterprise architects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Senior Embedded SW Architect through full product lifecycles.
• Arc42 documentation framework expertise.
• iSAQB CPSA-F Foundation preferred; Advanced modules desirable.
• Expertise in RTOS-based development on MCUs, with ThreadX preferred.
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling and modern CI/CD
• Strong technical writing for requirements and architecture specs.
• Track record in hard real-time embedded development and motor control algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Architect robust and scalable software for embedded systems in LaundryCare domain.
• Define software architecture for M3uC-based systems with modular design.
• Develop architecture documentation, interfaces, and guidelines.
• Drive core software components in C++ under RTOS.
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards and quality gates.
• Optimize performance within embedded constraints.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide feedback to align with goals.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in architecture and integration.
