The purpose of this role is to support the Senior Granulation Process Engineer during the day-to-day activities related to the implementation of new production tools (raw material processing) into daily, permanent production. The Granulation Process Engineer provides support to the Production Area during the granule production process and in the introduction of all improvement activities aimed at implementing the TWO strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the granulation production processes.
- Implementation of CI activities (development of applicable standards, cost optimization and achievement of goals – KPIs).
- Step-by-step assistance in determining and defining key parameters of production processes (m.in. standard working times, determination of resources and the level of raw material consumption).
- Engaged participation in projects for the development and implementation of new production engineering (assistance in testing, verification, and optimization of processes related to new engineering solutions).
- Support engineering and manufacturing teams to implement new manufacturing solutions.
- Cooperation with the research and development (R&I) team in order to adapt and implement innovative solutions to the granulation production proces.
- Preparation and completion of production documentation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- University degree (i.e. food technology, chemistry, biotechnology, quality management)
- At least 3 years of experience in a technology role within a FMCG industry
- Advanced English language command
- Practical knowledge of HACCP and QMS
- Direct experience in the process industry (production of liquid flavours, e.g. breweries, dairies, pharmaceutical production)
- Working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
