Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Graduate Controls & Automation Engineer to join the Project Delivery Group on global projects, with a start date Summer 2027. You will receive mentorship from industry leaders and gain international project experience across Europe and beyond, applying your engineering degree in real-world solutions.

The role is open to final-year students with a degree in Control & Automation, fluent English, and the ability to work on-site in Essen, Germany.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering, relevant to Control & Automation.
• Final-year university student with no more than 24 months of experience.
• Transcript of grades attached.
• Availability to work in Essen, Germany.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Receive formal and informal mentorship from industry leaders.
• Gain project experience on global projects, including Poland and beyond.
• Collaborate with professionals across cultures within Hatch.
• Apply engineering knowledge to traditional, as well as emerging, industries.
• Participate in Hatch Professional Development Programs.
