Job summary

Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) in Warsaw seeks an Associate for Risk & Controls Oversight. You will support product lifecycle oversight, delegated portfolio manager oversight, and governance across ESG and reporting, interfacing with global teams from London, Luxembourg and Warsaw.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, collaboration with key stakeholders, and the ability to drive improvements in governance processes within a fast-growing fund complex.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law or Risk Management.
• Postgraduate degree in the above subjects will be considered a plus.
• Experience in asset management or financial services, including delegate oversight, risk management, compliance or product governance.
• Experience with fund governance or operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate New Product Approval submissions to governing bodies for new funds, mandates and product initiatives.
• Coordinate post-NPA activities, tracking contracts, actions and sign-off requirements.
• Maintain ongoing oversight of AIFM products throughout their lifecycle and supporting reporting.
• Support governance of material fund changes, restructurings and liquidation events with Operations, Fund Legal and other stakeholders.
• Support ESG and sustainability considerations across processes.
• Perform ongoing monitoring - due diligence of delegated portfolio managers and reporting.
• Maintain portfolio manager oversight schedules, due diligence records and monitoring templates.
• Contribute to simplification and standardisation of governance records and templates.
• Identify opportunities to use technology, including AI-enabled tools, to improve process efficiency while maintaining governance.
