Job summary

Citi Solutions Center Poland is hiring a Go/Java Senior Software Engineer to build tools that keep our software supply chain secure and scalable.

You will work in a hybrid setup (up to 2 days remote per week) with a diverse, global team, applying DevSecOps principles, cloud-native architectures, and modern CI/CD practices. This role offers learning opportunities and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in agile teams with modern languages.
• Proficient in building cloud-native apps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with security-focused DevSecOps practices.
• Understanding of microservices, REST APIs and Kafka.

Responsibilities

Go/Java Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for someone excited about code! What You’ll Be Doing:

• Getting Hands-On: You'll be diving into the code, helping to build and improve tools that keep our software supply chain super secure. This means your work will directly help keep all our software safe and running smoothly!
• Learning Best Practices: You'll get to learn and apply modern software development ideas, focusing on how to build things securely right from the start. We'll show you the ropes of DevSecOps and SRE, helping you understand complex security stuff and create cool solutions that are safe, reliable, and can handle a lot of users.
• Team Up: You'll work closely with other development teams, helping them bake security into everything they do.
• Stay Curious: We want you to love learning! You'll explore the latest trends and technologies in keeping software supply chains safe, and we'll support your journey to stay sharp and up-to-date.

What We’re Looking For:

• Code Lover: You're a passionate software engineer with a good grasp of how to build reliable code. You're familiar cloud-native apps and modern CI/CD tools with AI.
• Experince: You've got experience in an agile team using modern programming languages. Go is awesome, but if you're a great Java/Spring Boot engineer looking to learn Go and grow, we'd love to chat!
• Familiar with Cloud Tech: You've had some exposure to or are keen to learn about implementing cloud/contarized applications using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, or big cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding the Basics: You have a basic understanding of how microservices work, REST APIs, and message systems like Kafka – or you're super keen to learn more!
• Team Player & Innovator: You love working with others on scalable systems, are open to new technologies, and enjoy pushing the limits of what’s possible!
