Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Go/Python focused engineer to build features for embedded platforms and cloud backends. You will work on Linux-based firmware, backend services, and APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance software.

We value experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and database tech like DynamoDB; familiarity with C/C++ is a plus. This role requires hands-on development in embedded environments and active participation in

Qualifications

• Proven Go development experience with standard library and tooling.
• Strong Python scripting or programming experience.
• Experience designing APIs with REST, gRPC, and Protobuf.
• Linux embedded development experience.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and service-oriented backends.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for embedded platforms (Cameras, Access, Alarms, Sensors) in Linux embedded environments.
• Develop and maintain Go firmware for embedded devices focusing on performance and security.
• Extend backend services in Python and Go.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
