Job summary
Zurich Insurance in Warsaw seeks an executive to lead the Underwriting Service Practice for International Industrial Insurance and Reinsurance. You will oversee reinsurance purchases, provide expert guidance to the Chief Underwriting Officer and LOB Heads, and steer the multinationals team to optimize governance and policy coordination.
The role requires 7+ years in underwriting or reinsurance, strong managerial and communication skills, and fluency in Polish and English.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in underwriting, underwriting services or reinsurance in mid-sized or industrial corporate insurance.
- Strong leadership and team development experience.
- Deep understanding of insurance market, products and regulations.
- Fluent English and Polish; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee reinsurance purchasing across the unit, ensuring governance.
- Provide underwriting expertise to executives and underwriters, including reporting.
- Manage and develop the Underwriting Services - Zurich Commercial Multinational team.
- Coordinate policies for risks of major international industrial customers.
- Ensure seamless customer/broker experience and data quality in systems.
- Monitor KPIs and guarantee consistency of local policies with global standards.
