Job summary

ABB is seeking a Finance Tax professional in Kraków to provide tax expertise across capital structures and cross-border matters. You will act as an internal tax advisor, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, while supporting the Finance team in Kraków’s Business Services center.

The role reports to the Tax Team Leader and collaborates with global tax teams, auditors, and project managers. It offers a hybrid work model and exposure to taxation strategy development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the Transactional Tax area
• Experience preparing international tax declarations
• Experience with VAT and Intrastat reporting

Responsibilities

• Ensuring VAT, Intrastat and other local transactional compliance and reporting
• Preparing tax returns filling in various jurisdictions in a timely manner
• Researching and correcting process errors that caused incorrect tax filings
• Supporting tax audits and ad-hoc matters
• Supporting automation and improvements of accounting / booking processes from the perspective of tax requirements
• Assisting in developing and implementing processes and procedures
• Supporting the management with financial aspects of project funding and risk assessment
