Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd in Lodz, Poland, is seeking a Global Supplier Development Engineer to lead supplier qualification, audits, and development initiatives. You will manage part approvals, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement across a global supplier base. The role requires engineering or related degree and 8+ years in quality and supplier development, with travel across locations.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or related field.
8+ years of experience in quality assurance and supplier development in metal fabrication/transformer components.
Familiarity with ISO 9001/IATF16949/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 and auditor certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier qualification through SAP Ariba assessments and global on-site audits.
Implement supplier improvement actions based on audit findings and process gaps.
Oversee global parts approval to ensure materials meet requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and drive annual evaluation process.
Develop action plans for performance recovery and corrective actions.
Drive global improvement in supplier management processes and sustainability alignment.
