Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an experienced Study Start-Up Lead to join our sponsor-dedicated team. You will help activate clinical studies efficiently and enroll participants on time across multiple countries, guiding site activation specialists and shaping start-up strategies.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, use forecasting tools and data to support plans, and develop country-specific ICFs. This role emphasizes collaboration, process improvements, and timely problem solving within a global CRO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in clinical operations, study start-up, project management, or trial optimization.
• At least 2 years managing site activation and study start-up activities in CRO/pharma.
• Experience creating country-level Informed Consent Forms (ICFs).
• Strong analytical skills with data, forecasting tools, and performance metrics.
• Ability to interpret complex information and communicate clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support site activation teams across global programs.
• Partner with Clinical Operations to improve start-up timelines.
• Use data, forecasting tools, and industry insights for planning decisions.
• Develop country-specific Informed Consent Forms based on local requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and drive improvements.
• Monitor progress, address delays, escalate issues when needed.
• Provide mentorship to study start-up team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve Ready to Enroll status efficiently.
