Job summary

Corning is seeking a SCADA engineer to design and deploy manufacturing data solutions across global operations. You will connect equipment, people, and data, supporting new deployments and collaborating with controls, IT, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires knowledge of SCADA platforms (Ignition, iFix), PLCs, and scripting languages; English and Polish fluency; and willingness to travel globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent.
• 1–3 years SCADA development experience.
• Experience integrating manufacturing equipment with SCADA, MES, historians, or databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support SCADA solutions for automated/manufacturing processes.
• Integrate equipment with MES, historians, databases, and enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate with controls and process engineers, IT, and vendors to define interfaces.
• Support new equipment deployment from design to production start-up.
• Gather manufacturing requirements and translate into scalable system solutions.
• Improve system reliability, cybersecurity, and data availability.
• Work with global teams to execute projects independently.
