Job summary

Sopra Steria in Poland is seeking a Scrum Master for an international program in the aerospace sector. The role operates under SAFe/Lean-Agile and involves coordinating a global development team with stakeholders in Canada, France, Poland, and India.

Note that cooperation is offered only to EU citizens located in Poland willing to commute to the Gdańsk office. On-site presence 2–3 days weekly is required, with a focus on delivering high-quality features and fostering agile practices.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Scrum Master of an IT development team.
• Strong technical and functional understanding of the development process.
• Proven ability to deliver projects under tight deadlines with high accountability.
• Leadership and facilitation skills (Servant Leader).
• Excellent communication with proven ability to facilitate.
• Strong organizational skills to manage priorities in dynamic conditions.
• Adaptability and flexible approach.
• Ability to identify, assess and mitigate project risks (basic tools).
• On-site presence in client offices in Gdansk 2/3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a Servant Leader for the development team and Scrum Master duties.
• Coaching the team within Scrum and SAFe to deliver features.
• Facilitating Scrum events to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
• Supporting the Product Owner to maintain the backlog and enable sprint readiness.
• Helping define the definition of done and ready with stakeholders input.
• Identify and manage impediments and risks affecting progress.
• Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team.
• Educate stakeholders on Scrum/SAFe principles.
