Job summary

ZF Group in Poland is inviting applications for a Trainee in Global Purchasing Department. The program offers hands-on experience in a global purchasing organization, with exposure to e-mobility components and negotiations with suppliers across regions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields, strong analytical and Excel/PowerPoint skills, English at least at B2, and full-time commitment. The program combines on-site work and a future hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related field.
• Analytical skills with attention to details.
• Practical use of MS-Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Independent and goal-oriented way of working, with good organizational and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of English in writing and verbal (at least B2 for everyday business communication).
• Availability to work full-time.
• Good knowledge of other language (German, Spanish or other) – nice to have.
• B-category Driving License – nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Become integral part of a global purchasing organization and gain hands-on experience.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of key electric motor components within the e-mobility value chain.
• Work in an international environment, collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders across regions.
• Gain practical experience in commercial negotiations and learn a variety of negotiation techniques while interacting with global strategic suppliers.
• Independently analyze, evaluate, and prepare purchasing-relevant data to support business decisions and achieve team and departmental objectives.
