Job summary

Wabtec in Poland seeks a procurement specialist to ensure timely and cost-effective material procurement, maintaining optimal inventory and strong supplier relationships to support uninterrupted production and on-time customer orders.

You will place orders, monitor deliveries and stock, coordinate with Logistics and Production Planning, evaluate suppliers, and drive process improvements. Fluency in English and intermediate Excel skills are required; higher education preferred.

Qualifications

• Higher education (preferably economics) is required.
• English language knowledge (oral and written) for everyday communication.
• Experience in a manufacturing company in a similar role.
• Experience with international suppliers and foreign companies.
• Strong initiative, analytical problem-solving, and accuracy.
• Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent time management and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Place orders with suppliers and supervise their execution.
• Ensure availability of components to fulfill customer orders based on plans.
• Control delivery dates and stock levels.
• Cooperate with domestic and foreign suppliers.
• Work closely with Logistics and Production Planning Departments.
• Monitor timely execution of orders.
• Conduct supplier evaluations per procedure.
