Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Project Manager to lead global payroll implementations across multiple regions. You will manage end-to-end projects, plan governance, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver on time and within scope.

The role combines a complex multi-country delivery with leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior staff and engaging stakeholders. It offers a hybrid work arrangement with two days in the office and three days remote.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in Accounting/ Finance/ HR/ Administration/ Operations; MBA preferred.
• 8–10 years in global payroll implementation and project management.
• Certifications like PMP/PRINCE2 are advantageous.
• Experience with AI tools, automation or data-driven payroll enhancements.
• Willingness to adapt responsibilities to business needs.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead global payroll implementation projects across regions and countries.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle from planning to stabilization.
• Develop project plans, charters, RACIs, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet timelines.
• Governance and reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior resources and conduct internal trainings.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and global client satisfaction.
