Job summary

Antal Poland is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to act as a technical link between Manufacturing and Product Engineering. The role emphasizes root cause analysis, mechanical investigations, and implementing robust corrective actions to improve product reliability and manufacturing performance.

You will analyze and resolve mechanical production issues, support DoE, and collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and reliability teams to drive design and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing support, or product development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, GD&T, tolerance analysis, materials, and assembly processes.
• Experience with root cause analysis and failure investigation methods.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve mechanical production issues related to design, assembly, materials, and reliability.
• Support root cause investigations and define effective containment and corrective actions.
• Perform tolerance stack-up, mechanical interface, structural robustness, and assembly variation analysis.
• Support Design of Experiments (DoE) and data-driven problem solving.
• Investigate issues related to thermal interfaces, sealing, deformation, warpage, fatigue, and durability.
• Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and reliability teams.
• Document technical findings and drive improvements into design standards and manufacturing processes.
