Job summary

Biogen Poland in Warsaw is seeking a Professional to support the Global Intercompany Accounting Team in the monthly close, including intercompany recharges, reconciliations, COGS invoicing, and cross-functional projects in Poland and China.

This hybrid role requires work permit and Polish residency; base compensation ranges from zł111,000 to zł148,500 yearly, with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent accounting training.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience with intercompany accounting, including transactions between multiple affiliates.
• Understanding of monthly close and reconciliation processes.
• Experience in an international business environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems preferred.
• Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation tools an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support transfer pricing calculations for intercompany finished goods sales and COGS invoices.
• Prepare monthly intercompany account reconciliations in BlackLine.
• Calculate monthly intercompany recharges using the Tax Cube International Template.
• Assist with ad hoc assignments and cross-functional projects with Logistics, Trade Compliance, VAT, and Corporate Tax teams.
• Support quarterly analysis and true-up processes for taxable income variances.
• Run Oracle jobs in the monthly close to support global intercompany accounting.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
• Partner with stakeholders across regions to resolve intercompany accounting issues and drive process improvements.
