Job summary

OANDA TMS Brokers S.A. in Warsaw is seeking a Head of Financial Risk to oversee risk across OTMS, ensuring robust controls and Polish regulatory compliance. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on risk governance in a hybrid work model.

You will report to the OTMS Management Board, drive risk measurement, stress testing and policy development, and coordinate with business units to maintain financial stability and effective risk governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a trading environment or financial risk management.
• 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of market, credit, counterparty, liquidity and capital risk.
• Experience with risk modelling and regulatory risk governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of financial risks at OTMS.
• Oversee market risk measurement and monitoring, including VaR and Expected Shortfall.
• Oversee credit and counterparty risk management within approved risk appetite and limits.
• Oversee stress testing and scenario analysis to assess resilience.
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify emerging risks and recommend mitigations.
• Escalate material risks and ensure clear communication to stakeholders.
• Review risk appetite, limits and methodologies to align with regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with business functions to strengthen controls and risk framework.
