ALTEN has a full-time Data Security Analyst role based in Kraków. You will lead responses to data breach events, coordinate multi-unit actions, and keep stakeholders informed during incidents. The role requires deep knowledge of GDPR, SIEM tools, and cloud analytics, with a focus on proactive detection and resilience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar cyber security analyst role.
• Strong problem-solving, investigative and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent English with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in an enterprise-scale organisation in finance or regulated sector.
• Strong decision-making capabilities; weigh costs and benefits.
• Good knowledge of GDPR requirements and regulations.
• Understanding of common operating systems and platforms.
• Knowledge of log management suites, SIEM tools, and cloud-based security analytics.

Responsibilities

• Manage response to Data Breach events and incidents globally, mitigating data risks and cyber-threats.
• Coordinate actions across multiple business units during breaches and incidents.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and decision makers during data loss events.
• Cultivate relationships with Data Protection Officers, Cybersecurity leads, BIROs, and Risk Managers.
• Follow processes to analyse, respond to and mitigate Data Breaches.
• Support incidents through eradication and lessons learned for improved resilience.
• Identify and develop ideas to enhance detection capabilities and mitigations.
• Collaborate with wider Cybersecurity and IT teams.
