Job summary

Danaher Corporation seeks a Senior Director of Global Cyber Detection & Response to lead threat detection, incident response, and SOC operations worldwide. The role requires strategic leadership, cross‑functional collaboration with OpCos, and regular travel. Remote work is offered with international coordination across Danaher’s global footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CS/InfoSec/Engineering and 12+ years of security experience.
• Experience building enterprise SIEM environments (Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle, Elastic, Panther).
• Leadership of a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own the global Incident Detection & Response program across cloud, endpoint, identity, network, OT/ICS, and product environments.
• Lead architecture and operation of the enterprise detection ecosystem (SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, EDR/XDR).
• Oversee telemetry lifecycle: log onboarding, parsing, normalization, detection content ownership.
• Build and mature a 24x7 cyber defense organization across regions and management layers.
• Drive AI/automation adoption in threat-informed defense and incident response processes.
