The Global Category Lead will be responsible for the global strategy. Possesses in-depth technical knowledge of the Sterilization category, along with strong stakeholder and supplier management experience within Indirect Procurement. Key responsibilities include proactively leading cost reduction projects, designing and proposing supplier development strategies, conducting negotiations and contracting, and making and executing decisions to ensure timely delivery of quality products and services aligned with Vantive's business needs.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Proven expertise in global procurement management, including cross-cultural communication, RFP processes, and strategic sourcing. Strong background in contract negotiation, vendor management, and performance evaluation, with specialized experience in Sterilization commodities.
Communication Requirements: Ability to lead value-based negotiations and align stakeholder expectations across internal and external teams. Skilled in conflict resolution to maintain positive supplier relationships.
Innovation / Problem‑Solving: Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. Apply data-driven insights and innovative solutions to optimize procurement and supplier performance.
Knowledge Requirements: Comprehensive understanding of procurement operations (RFI, RFQ, RFP, QBR) and contract management. Solid grasp of supply chain principles, strategic procurement in Facility Management, and Sterilization industry best practices.
Competences and Behaviors: Demonstrated leadership in motivating cross‑functional teams and making data-driven decisions. Collaborative approach to building value with stakeholders and suppliers.
Master's degree in business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or related areas required.
