Job summary

Jammel Motors in Warszawa seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, lead the finance team, and ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and tax requirements.

You will support management with financial reporting, balance sheet oversight, cash flow management, and intercompany transactions, while strengthening internal controls.

The role offers regional exposure and a pathway to strategic financial leadership within a globally active automotive group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting or similar.
• At least 5 years in a similar position.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Strong skills in balance sheet management, account reconciliations, and resolution of accounting discrepancies.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and leveraging systems to improve accounting accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and regulatory reports on time.
• Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of key accounts.
• Support cash management, intercompany accounting, and working capital optimization.
• Provide reliable financial information and technical accounting guidance to management.
