Job description

Castolin Eutectic is the world leader in Maintenance & Repair Technologies used in a variety of industries with 100 years of experience and offices in most countries worldwide. Our technologies include welding, brazing, thermal spray and prepared parts to improve our customers' component lifetime and tackle specialist joining problems.

Responsibilities
  • Analysis and settlement of general ledger accounts
  • Preparation of financial statements / periodic reports according to IFRS standards
  • Keeping a register of fixed assets, accruals, etc.
  • Reconciliation of the balance of the general ledger
  • Consolidation and confirmation of balances and transactions in group companies
  • Participation in activities related to month end closing process
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Creating and updating process documentation
  • Preparation of documentation for audit purposes
  • Active cooperation with other departments, company units and trading partners
Qualifications
  • BA degree preferably in accounting (correlated areas such as business administration, economics, etc. will also be considered as a plus)
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems (MS Dynamics D365 would be an advantage)
  • High level of proactivity, resilience, and persistence
  • Ability to work in a structured, analytical, and careful manner, paying attention to the quality of the work results
  • High degree of independence, flexibility as well as communication and teamwork skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English (and other European languages are a plus)
