Job description

Your responsibilities

• Leading full accounting cycle for several SPVs
• Preparing quarter-end, and year-end closures
• Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and any other required accounting statements or financial reports
• Maintaining, recording, and reconciling GL entries based on the relevant supporting documentation
• Performing daily accounting activities like payments, mappings, keeping supporting trackers up to date
• Additional tasks:
  • Researching open accounting issues and liaise with the relevant parties to solve them
  • Answering questions regarding various accounting issues and reports
  • Supporting in tax returns preparation
  • Supporting in other statutory reports
  • Supporting audit process in providing reconciliations, supporting workings, documents
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills

• Minimum of three to five years of relevant accounting experience
• Advanced accounting knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced English command
• German knowledge is required
• Communicative, detail-oriented, conscientious person, who demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable reports to customers. Ability to clearly present information
• Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GAAP
• Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles, ability to conduct basic financial analysis
