Job summary

Xebia, a global AI-first, digital transformation and engineering partner, seeks a GitHub Migration Engineer for a large-scale migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub. You will migrate repositories and pipelines across GHES and GHEC, validate workflows with engineering teams, and optimize CI/CD processes.

This hands-on role requires collaboration with international teams and is based in the EU region. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure migrations are successful, fully

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Git and GitHub.
• Experience with GitHub Actions workflows.
• Experience migrating repositories to GitHub.
• Experience with GHES and/or GHEC.
• Experience with Azure DevOps repos and pipelines.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot GitHub Actions workflow issues.
• Experience validating CI/CD workflows with development or engineering teams.
• Good communication skills and ability to work directly with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Azure DevOps repositories to GitHub.
• Migrate Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Actions workflows.
• Support repository migrations between GHES and GHEC.
• Migrate and remediating GitHub Actions workflows.
• Troubleshoot workflow failures and migration issues.
• Optimize GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD reliability.
• Validate migrated repositories and workflows with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support teams during the Azure DevOps to GitHub transition.
• Contribute to GitHub repository administration and migration activities.
• Document migration processes, issues, and solutions.
