Job summary

Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, Institute of Civil Engineering, invites candidates for the position of assistant or assistant professor in geodesy and cartography. The role includes teaching and supervising practical exercises for civil engineering students, with classes conducted in Polish and English.

A Master or PhD in geodesy/cartography is required, with strong research and teaching interests.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in engineering and technical sciences with Civil Engineering / Geodesy and Cartography specialization.
• Fluent command of English or another congress language for independent publication and presentations.
• Proven publication record in journals or books; four or more publications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classes and practical exercises on geodesy and cartography for civil engineering students.
• Teach in Polish and English; participate in teaching activities and student supervision.
• Lead or contribute to research projects and collaborations, with international scope as an advantage.
