Job summary

Genuine Parts Company Krakow is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Generative AI to join the Special Projects team. You will design, develop, and maintain software leveraging Generative AI, working closely with lead engineers, data scientists, and product owners to deliver scalable solutions on GCP, Vertex AI, and modern web stacks.

Required experience includes Python backend, cloud platforms, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of software development experience with Python and cloud solutions.
• Experience with Generative AI and deploying LLMs is a major plus.
• Familiarity with GCP or other major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is essential.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, review and maintain code for Generative AI integrated solutions.
• Develop front-end components and UI for AI-enabled applications.
• Design and implement Cloud solutions on GCP and Vertex AI.
• Participate in full development lifecycle from design to production.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and code quality improvements.
