Job summary

Maandag® Poland is seeking a passionate AI Engineer to help advance our AI solutions in a dynamic environment in Wroclaw. You will contribute to AI solutions development, work on generative retrieval, and drive Language Model training with modern tooling and methodologies.

Ideal candidates bring strong Python, plus knowledge of C/C++ or Rust, hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, and a research mindset. Post-graduation in relevant fields is welcome to join our nearshoring teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills; knowledge of C/C++ or Rust is a plus.
• Experience with foundation models like LLama2 or Falcon is a plus.
• Technical know-how: Transformers, embeddings, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on mindset; willingness to tackle tasks directly.
• Master's or PhD in mathematics, computer science, business informatics, or related field with GPA 2.2+.
• 1–2 years post-graduation in AI engineering or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to evolution of our AI solutions.
• Shape and adapt augmented generative retrieval approaches.
• Drive training of Language Models.
• Evaluate new methods and technologies.
• Keep our solutions in top-notch condition; bug fixing and maintenance.
• Dive into the day-to-day operation of AI solutions.
• Ensure quality, performance, and reliability.
