We are searching for a:

General Ledger Accountant

Who will ensure that all reconciliations and accounting procedures are performed to Group standards, ensuring that maximum customer satisfaction is achieved and service levels are met or exceeded for all customer requirements.

Responsibilities

More importantly you will be responsible for the following:

  • Reconcile and manage intercompany accounts and balances, ensuring accurate reporting to the Group.
  • Support accounting and financial processes, including discounts, inventory control, VAT, sales analysis, expense reporting, forecasts, and budget preparation.
  • Execute month-end close in the General Ledger, post journals, and report monthly results.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, cost and revenue analysis, and fixed assets management, including leasing and inventory in Oracle Hyperion.
  • Support operational companies: clarify differences, confirm processes, and respond to accounting requests.
  • Ensure all reconciliations and processes comply with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.
  • Report performance against KPIs and SLAs, maintaining high personal engagement and adherence to Ricoh’s core values.
Requirements

What we are looking for in you:

To be successful in this position you should have experience with responsibilities as a General Ledger Accountant both transactional and analytical. We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills who demonstrates great independence. Communication skills are also important to maintain good internal relations. Understanding of the entire accounting cycle is required. Fluency in English is very important for this position. We prefer education in fields such as finance, accounting, and economics. Knowledge of Oracle will be an additional asset.
