This role focuses on designing and developing an AI-driven solution to automate the production of advertising newspapers and flyers. The system ingests advertisements and inserts, calculates the optimal page layout, generates and places editorial content using AI, and produces print-ready PDFs. The specialist is responsible for the end-to-end solution, including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, optimization, and production support. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining an AI-powered publishing platform for a German media publisher. The solution automates the end-to-end production of advertising newspapers and flyers by ingesting advertisements and inserts, optimizing page layouts through constraint-solving algorithms, integrating editorial content from multiple data sources, and orchestrating AI-driven content generation and placement. The specialist is responsible for system architecture, backend development, AI workflow orchestration, cloud deployment, integrations with surrounding publishing systems, and ensuring the generation of fully automated, print-ready PDF/X-3 files at 300 DPI without any manual rework, which is a critical business requirement.
