Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is hiring a GCP Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain ING’s Data Analytics Platform on Google Cloud. You will develop infrastructure automation services using Golang and create cloud-native, scalable, and secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on data platform development on GCP (Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc, GCS).
• Strong Golang experience for infra/automation.
• Infrastructure as Code mindset with Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation (Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud-native architecture and infra automation practices.
• Hands-on monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Networking fundamentals: VPC, DNS, load balancers, firewalls.
• Security concepts: OIDC, KMS, SSL/TLS.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts and contribute to design docs.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining ING’s Data Analytics Platform on GCP.
• Developing infrastructure automation services using Golang.
• Creating and maintaining cloud-native, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Supporting platform users and onboarding tenants smoothly.
• Improving and evolving key platform components and architecture.
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Ensuring platform reliability, including on-call rotations.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, cost-efficient solutions.
