Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Architect in Poland to design scalable data architectures on GCP. You will define data models, govern data quality, and align data solutions with business strategy while collaborating with data scientists and analysts.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience as Data Architect.
• Min. 4 years of experience with GCP cloud-based infrastructure & systems.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and cloud computing services.
• Strong experience in the Data & Analytics area.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, data pipelines, and data governance.
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data processing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions.
• Design and oversee the overall data architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Define data models and data schemas to meet business needs, considering data volume, velocity, variety, and veracity.
• Select and integrate appropriate data technologies to support data processing and analysis.
• Ensure data engineering solutions align with long-term data strategy and goals.
• Evaluate and implement data governance practices including privacy and security compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable data analysis and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance to data engineering teams and support throughout implementation.
• Oversee implementation according to design documents and specs.
• Stay updated with emerging data engineering trends and technologies.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization; resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure data quality and integrity with monitoring mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with other systems.
• Participate in project planning and estimation; document decisions.
