Job summary

your Jared is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect (GCP) to partner with DevOps teams, co-create architectures, and educate on cost awareness. You will deliver PoCs/MVPs to accelerate innovation within the Cloud Center of Excellence, and lead efforts across Azure and Google Cloud with a focus on scalable, secure cloud solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, collaboration with global teams, and a strong emphasis on communication, documentation, and governance to maximize value realization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, CS, or Electronics.
• Minimum 5 years as a Cloud Solution Architect.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform and architecture governance.
• Hands-on design/operating IaaS on GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, VPC).
• Experience with PaaS on GCP (App Engine, Cloud Run) and managed DBs.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud onboarding expertise across Azure and GCP for DevOps teams.
• Educate teams on secure, scalable cloud architectures and cost awareness.
• Act as consulting partner and remove roadblocks on cloud journeys.
• Represent the CCoE as ambassador to DevOps teams.
• Promote cloud cost awareness and optimization strategies.
• Test and validate new cloud technologies and accelerate adoption.
• Collaborate with product owners to close service gaps in CCoE.
• Contribute to cloud architecture design for cloud-native and hybrid apps.
• Support automation improvements including CI/CD and IaC.
• Document designs and maintain knowledge transfer.
• Design, develop, and support AI solutions to benefit CCoE and customers.
