Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer for a contract role in Krakow, Poland. You will build and manage the client's GCP foundation platform to enable application deployments using Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).

The role emphasizes security, IAM, networking, and monitoring, with collaboration across global IT teams. On-call support is required as part of a 24x7 coverage model.

Qualifications

• Experience building services in a Cloud Service Provider (ideally GCP).
• Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code concepts and techniques.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools.
• Experience configuring SDN within a CSP (VPCs, XPN).
• Security and Compliance, e.g. IAM (ADFS, OAuth) and cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools.
• Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams and cross-functional IT teams.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with the ability to articulate complex information to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the client's GCP foundation platform to enable application deployments
• Engineer solutions on GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure As Code methods (e.g. Terraform)
• Integrate, configure, deploy and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g. IAM, networking, logging, Operating systems, Containers.)
• Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security
• Ensure compliancy with Operational risk standards (E.g. Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency)
• Update support and operational documentation as required
• Ensure good Change management practice is implemented as specified by central standards.
• On a rotational on call basis provide out of business hours support as part of our 24 x 7 coverage
