Job summary

Sperasoft in Warszawa is seeking a dedicated QA tester for video games to drive daily product testing, report defects, verify fixes, and help developers reproduce difficult bugs.

You will perform regression testing, manage your tasks, and communicate daily with the remote Client QA team. The role requires passion for games, strong English, and teamwork within a distributed setup.

Qualifications

• Passion for video games.
• Good spoken and written English (not lower than Intermediate).
• Excellent understanding of software QA concepts, debugging processes, and how to obtain TTY/logs for reproduction.
• 2+ years of commercial testing experience with delivered projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
• Experience with tracking and version control systems (JIRA, Perforce).

Obowiązki:

• Codzienne prowadzenie testów produktu: zgłaszanie i dokumentowanie nowych błędów, weryfikacja poprawek oraz wsparcie deweloperów w reprodukcji trudnych do odtworzenia usterek
• Przeprowadzanie testów regresyjnych
• Zarządzanie zadaniami w zakresie własnych odpowiedzialności i koordynacja pracy z resztą zespołu
• Codzienna komunikacja z zagranicznym zespołem QA po stronie Klienta
• Proponowanie planu mitygacji (łagodzenia) ryzyka dla własnych zadań
• Stosowanie się do praktyk i standardów obowiązujących w zespole
• Przyswajanie i gromadzenie wiedzy oraz dbanie o własny plan rozwoju zawodowego

Requirements

• Passion for video games
• Good spoken and written English (not lower than Intermediate level, Upper-Intermediate and higher is a plus)
• Excellent understanding of software quality assurance concepts, debugging processes and procedures, including how to get TTY and output information for issue reproduction
• 2+ year experience in testing, successfully delivered projects
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in distributed team
• Solid experience with tracking and version control systems (JIRA, Perforce).

Would be a plus:

• Good knowledge and strict following game developing processes will be an advantage
• Full understanding of the game’s design and how all the inter-dependencies work together
• Experience of testing Mobile/PC/Console (Play Station, Xbox) games

Wymagania:

• Bycie pasjonatem gier wideo
• Dobra znajomość języka angielskiego w mowie i piśmie
• Doskonała znajomość pojęć z zakresu zapewniania jakości oprogramowania (QA), procesów oraz procedur debugowania, w tym umiejętność pozyskiwania logów TTY i danych wyjściowych na potrzeby reprodukcji błędów
• Co najmniej 2 lata komercyjnego doświadczenia w testowaniu i pomyślnie zrealizowane projekty
• Silne umiejętności komunikacyjne oraz zdolność do pracy w zespole
• Doświadczenie w pracy z systemami monitorowania błędów oraz kontroli wersji (JIRA, Perforce)

Mile widziane:

• Dobra znajomość i skrupulatne przestrzeganie procesów przy tworzeniu gier
• Pełne zrozumienie designu gry oraz sposobu, w jaki współpracują ze sobą wszystkie zależności systemowe
• Doświadczenie w testowaniu gier mobilnych, na PC lub konsole (PlayStation, Xbox)
