Job summary

Skydance is hiring for a platform engineering role focused on building a centralized performance testing automation system for games. You will define software architecture, databases, and a scalable user experience while collaborating with developers, designers, QA, and operations across our gaming teams.

You will influence platform foundations from day one, shape performance testing approaches, and contribute to the evolution of tooling used by engineers across the projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development, build automation, delivery and deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, configuration management, cloud platforms, version control, automation, monitoring, analytics, containerization and microservices architecture.
• Experience with code collaboration in Git and distributed version control.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux VMs.
• Bonus: Unreal Engine experience and BuildGraph scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a platform (applications, integrations and infrastructure) supporting gaming department.
• Collaborate with software architects, game developers, QA and operations to improve delivery.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and self-service tools for developers.
• Design and manage infrastructure and automation tooling.
• Implement and manage containers and VM orchestration.
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting across systems.
