Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) in Kraków seeks a Junior Operations Specialist for Funds Transfer Pay Processing on an afternoon schedule. You will initiate, authorize, investigate, and repair electronic instructions within BBH’s Funds Transfer framework.

Learn wire transfer formats (SWIFT) and BBH-specific processing rules while ensuring timeliness and accuracy. The role follows an afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with possible future transition to standard hours.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• Demonstrated PC skills.
• Ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem.
• Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task in a professional client service context.
• Good with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a team environment to process client instructions accurately and within market deadlines.
• Repair and verify transactions in BBH systems, ensuring all items are completed on time.
• Participate in all steps of payment processing, including callbacks, and remain flexible to shift between tasks as needed.
• Research and resolve unclear or incomplete instructions, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Ensure all client deliverables are met in line with Funds Transfer procedures and controls.
• Respond professionally to inquiries from internal departments via email or phone, providing timely and accurate information.
• Adhere to firm policies and department procedures, especially those related to Funds Transfer.
• Promptly escalation any sensitive or risk-related issues to management.
