CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions seeks a seasoned Fund Controller to lead financial reporting and consolidation across multiple funds and geographies. You will collaborate with Investment Oversight, Treasury and other CBRE IA&R teams to ensure accurate, timely information and compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduated from higher vocational training or university in finance or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CA or equivalent preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant work experience in finance/accounting.
• Experience with financial reporting and audit processes.
• Knowledge of IFRS, VAT and CIT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, other statements).
• Consolidate financial data and perform analytical reviews across CBRE IA&R.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual accounts processes.
• Coordinate VAT and CIT returns with external tax advisor.
• Manage quarterly covenant reporting.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.

Job description

As a Fund Controller for CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions ("CBRE IA&R), you will work in an ambitious organization that is leading in the Fund Accounting of Real Estate Funds, Joint Ventures and Separate Accounts. The Fund Controller reports to the Manager/Director of Fund Accounting Team and works, in an international environment, closely with other Controllers and various departments within CBRE IA&R.

In this position you will support the accounting team for the financial reporting, controlling, cash flow planning and VAT. You are the link between the business, Investment Oversight, Treasury and Payments. You fulfil a key function in managing reliable and complete financial information and share your solicited and unsolicited advice.

Within CBRE IA&R, you will be challenged to develop yourself, to extend your knowledge and skills and to further improve and professionalize various processes within the company.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare financial statements (income statements, balance sheets and various other accounting statements)
• Perform consolidation of financial data including analytical review of the financial data processed by departments within CBRE IA&R
• Prepare and coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
• Prepare and coordinate quarterly VAT and CIT statements and returns in cooperation with external tax advisor
• Prepare and coordinate quarterly covenant management
• Perform bank reconciliations, daily cash management and cashflow forecasts
• Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger
• Coordinate the annual audit in cooperation with external auditors
• Prepare statutory accounts
• Prepare financial input for Board meetings and attend as well
• Create and complete financial and management reports for clients/investors and other interested parties
• Coordinate the reporting process across various functions, funds and geographies to ensure timely and well organized completion of reporting process

What You’ll Need:

• Graduated from higher vocational training (Bachelor) or university (Master) specializing in finance, such as business economics or accountancy, preferred CPA/ACCA/CA or equivalent
• At least 5-7 years relevant work experience, preferably in a similar position at a financial organisation or Big 4
• Experience with preparation of periodic and annual financial reports and annual audit processes
• Practical experience with consolidation and tax returns, in particular VAT and CIT
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as IFRS and accounting principles in general
• Fluent in Polish and English, both verbal and in writing
