Responsibilities

• Team Lead role in the project includes duties and responsibilities of technical lead, system analyst, developer and manager’s partly. Each team in the project includes small number of engineers and limited backlog determined by specific work stream, so that the person in the Team Lead role will be able to deal with multi-tasking environment and meet the expectations.
• Technical Lead
  - Quality assurance
  - Conduct code review
  - Testing (test artifacts, test planning)
  - Unit tests
  - Code standards
  - Technical debt and refactoring
  - Technologies awareness and application
  - Regular story or another JIRA item development
  - Keep following the determined technology stack
  - Investigate technologies and tools, be involved into research and try to optimize things and not stuck with current approach
• Release management
  - Release schedule management

  - Compliance with Devops standards
  - Compliance with QA standards
• Architecture
  - Collect and investigate technical requirements
  - Technical design and technical design review
  - Keep Technical Director informed and follow general approaches within the team
  - Knowledge sharing
  - Keep knowledge sharing within the team, keep other team leads aware of the main achievements and changes
  - Contribute into knowledge base collection, keep appropriate documentation up to date
  - System analyst
  - Product understanding
  - Understanding of what team is doing and why
  - Understanding of user roles in the product
  - Understanding of how the product is implemented
  - Provide feedback to PO in form of Pros/Cons, risks and questions and proposals
  - Product backlog management
  - Keep team awareness of backlog changes
  - Initiate refinements and planning as soon as needed
  - Provide feedback to PO in terms of value assessment, unclear items and development efforts
  - Create items that are technical debt and bugs and prioritize with PO
• Manager
  - Compliance with team work methodology
  - Drive team to follow chosen methodology, best practices and metrics achievement
  - Follow the PM’s, Technical Director’s approach, provide a feedback to them
  - Analyze processes and take part in continuous optimization
  - Manage team members’ capacity and distribute tasks taking into account team members workload, experience and skills
  - Contribute into team members professional expertise grow: create personal roadmaps, provides conditions to achieve targets that are set for team member
