Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute across the full development lifecycle within a Scrum team. You will work on front-end and back-end tasks using JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and C#, with Azure cloud knowledge.

The role involves designing, coding, implementing automated tests, collaborating with product owners, and driving engineering excellence through best practices and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, Angular, and Node.js.
• Over 2 years of hands-on experience with .NET technologies, C#, and Microsoft .Net.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, state management (NGRX), and browser performance tuning.
• Knowledge of design patterns and principles (OOP, SOLID).
• Knowledge of cloud services, infrastructure, pipelines, and architecture, preferably on Azure.
• Practical knowledge of software development practices such as TDD and BDD.
• Experience with peer reviews, code quality tools like SonarQube, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
• Strong fundamentals in software testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, NX, Angular CLI), experience building responsive, accessible, and mobile-friendly web applications (Nice to have).
