Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for Ring Operations in Gdansk to design, integrate and modernize fullstack services on AWS powering fulfillment and logistics. You will work across Ring and Blink platforms, with opportunities to expand to other units, contributing to scalable, reliable architectures and AI-enabled features.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python or TypeScript).
• Experience with AI and agentic-driven software delivery.
• Experience in system design (architecture, reliability and scaling).
• Professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and modernize fullstack services on AWS, leveraging a range of AWS solutions to support fulfillment and logistics operations.
• Integrate systems across Ring, Blink, and other units (eCommerce, Customer Support, AI agent platforms).
• Redesign architectures to improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Apply AI tools and techniques to accelerate development and deliver new capabilities.
• Write, test, maintain, and deploy code across the stack.
• Invent, design, estimate, and plan new features and integration patterns.
• Work in a Scrum team and participate in Daily, Planning, Grooming, and Retro meetings.
