Job summary

Jit seeks a hybrid Data Science/AI engineer in Warsaw to build an Underwriter OS blending React/Next.js frontend with Python/FastAPI backend and orchestrated AI agents. You will integrate with policy administration platforms and tarification engines to transform underwriting processes.

You’ll develop data extraction pipelines from broker documents, design prompt strategies for insurance guidelines, and deploy everything on Azure with containerized CI/CD workflows.

Project

Building an Underwriter OS – a modern application that combines React/Next.js frontend, Python/FastAPI backend, and orchestrated AI agents to transform underwriting processes. The system integrates with policy administration platforms, tarification engines, DMS, CRM, broker portals, and Outlook. You’ll develop data extraction pipelines from broker documents, build prompt engineering strategies for insurance guidelines, and deploy everything on Azure with containerized CI/CD workflows.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 2 years in Data Science/AI with at least 1 year of production deployments
• Strong React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI proficiency
• LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks and prompt engineering
• PostgreSQL and SQL fluency
