Job summary

b2bnetwork is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Java Developer to join the Cards Service Domain. You will design, implement, and maintain internet-facing Commercial Cards applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices.

Responsibilities include building REST APIs, ensuring security and performance, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. English proficiency (B1+/B2) is required, with on-site work in Warsaw, Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Full Stack Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs.
• Strong Angular and Angular Material skills.
• Experience with Kafka and SQL databases.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience; CI/CD tooling (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and secure coding (OWASP) practices.
• Good troubleshooting skills and problem solving.
• English level B1+ to B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

Job description

The consultant will work as a Full Stack Java Developer within the Cards Service Domain, focusing on the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of internet-facing Commercial Cards applications. The role involves designing and implementing new functionalities, enhancing existing solutions, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security of business-critical applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Develop and enhance microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams to deliver business value.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities detected through SAST, container scanning, dependency scanning, penetration testing, and other security assessments.
• Drive secure coding practices and contribute to improving the security posture of internet-facing applications.
• Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, operational documentation, and implementation guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to development practices, automation, quality assurance, and security.
• The consultant is expected to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional Agile team and contribute to both feature delivery and ongoing application lifecycle management activities.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and solutions, such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, to improve development efficiency, code quality, documentation, testing, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Explore and contribute to the adoption of AI agents and intelligent automation solutions that enhance software delivery, operational support, and business value creation within the Cards domain.
